Clic.net offers 2 options for Plan Changes.
For the server transfer service a basic fee of 42, 50$ will be
charged.
Option A) "Do it yourself"
(Risk of downtime)
You may want to transfer your website to the new account yourself.
Clic.net will create your new account and you will have 48 hours to
transfer your website from your old account, to the new account.
Your old account will be deleted after this transition period (all files
will be deleted!). Your website visitors may experience an
interruption of service ("downtime") before the new server is
recognized by the "DNS servers" (Servers that route the traffic
on the Internet)
Option B) Assisted
(NO downtime)
Clic.net technicians can take care of everything to make sure your
business remains available during the transfer. They can take care
of file transfers, electronic forms reconfiguration, and will test
everything before re-routing the traffic to the new server. There is
a one time fee of 85$CAN for 1 hour of work (which is sufficient most of
the time) to perform this task. If we need more time, which may
happen with larger websites or interactive websites, you will be required
to purchase a "Time Bank" to allow us to finish the work.
In any case, a Clic.net technician will contact you with an estimate
before any change is performed on your account.
