Job Description:

The chosen candidate will develop and deliver informational or transactional websites, based on templates designed by our graphic team and/or material supplied by customers.

As a member of the development team, the candidate will be responsible for integrating various elements into a fully funcitonal website, including the general layout, the animations, testing for multiple platforms, and getting the site online, while maintaining ClicNet's high quality standards.

Working under the supervision of the project manager, the web developer will also be involved in the project during the brainstorming meetings before the development starts. The integration itself only occurs once the development of various elements is completed. Based on his/her experience and expertise, and on the size of the project, the web developer may also be asked to assist other teammates by advising on aspects of the site that will affect the integration, like ergonomics and design.

Requiring both independence and a strong taste for teamwork, it is also essential the candiate has a strong care for details, good adaptability, the ability to perform under pressure, and good communication skills. It also implies an interest in innovation and constant learning, because the tools and technologies are always changing.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Mastery of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX Programming
• Mastery in optimizing strategies and accessibility
• Web 2.0 and Tableless Programming
• Understanding of PHP, ASP, ASP.NET and XML
• Concepts of design (cutting and optimizing images)
